This 2-hour dog training class will teach you all you need to know to help your dog be comfortable wearing his muzzle. Even if your dog has never bitten or shown any signs of aggressive behavior, there may be times when he will have to wear a muzzle. Uncomfortable vet exams may require a muzzle. Sometimes groomers require a muzzle. Some public transportation requires dogs to be muzzled (the Catalina Express comes to mind!). Most dogs are not accepting of being muzzled unless you take the time to get them accustomed to the device properly, and we can help you learn to teach your dog to accept being muzzled with very little fuss at all.

We believe every dog should have his own well-fitting muzzle that can be used anywhere a muzzle might be needed, so you’ll receive information on what type of muzzle will work best for your dog, how to properly size it and the complete acclimation process. Before too long, your dog will be happily outfitted in his safety gear with no fuss at all. Many of our students will even help their people put their muzzles on! Best of all, you’ll have the confidence of knowing that you’ll be able to keep your dog safe and secure, without exposing him to the undue stress associated with being restrained and muzzled by strangers using some one-size-fits-all equipment that’s neither comfortable or reliable.

This class will require you to purchase a muzzle in advance, and we’ll make sure you have all the information you need to choose the right size and style for your pooch!

The class is a single-session, about 2 hours long, and held at our training center in Corona. Class sizes are small so sign up now!
