Housetraining is simple but sometimes it’s hard!

Do you get all kinds of tips and advice that don’t seem to add up to anything? Have you read articles and books and “tried everything” but still don’t have a housetrained dog?

I totally get that! I’m Barbara Davis, CDBC, and as a professional dog trainer and dog behavior consultant for over 30 years, I know that “tricks and tips” rarely are effective in training complex behaviors and fixing behavior problems. Advice from your relatives, FaceBook friends and other well-meaning helpers can be frustrating and a waste of time.

The bottom line is, to get the best results as quickly as possible, you need to know what’s going to work, and you need a plan.

Not knowing where to go to the bathroom is one of the top reasons dogs wind up living in the yard, or worse, losing their homes altogether. This, to me, is so tragic because a good, effective housetraining program can be so straightforward and easy to implement, but only if you know the key elements of the process and have realistic expectations.

That’s why I’ve decided to offer Pee-free, a free housetraining program, so folks like you have access to all the information and GOOD advice you need to be successful in helping your dog learn where to go! We’re going to cover all the key ingredients for success in housetraining, and help you with individual questions so you are able to customize this program to make the most sense for you!

Our 1-hour Pee-free training is conducted virtually by Zoom, but is 100% live, just like any other good training class. You’re welcome to actively participate in the class, and get all your individual questions answered, so that your housetraining program is as quick and effective as it possibly can be!

To participate, you’ll need a computer, tablet, smartphone or other device you can use to connect by Zoom. Participation will be limited to 20 attendees per session, so we have enough time to complete the overall presentation and answer individual questions. You’ll also have to register in advance so we can get you the Zoom meeting connect information in advance so you can participate.

To register for one of our upcoming Pee-free sessions, email us at Please include “Pee-free” in the subject line, and provide your name and the date of the session you’d like to attend. We’ll email you back with a confirmation, including the Zoom room connection information you’ll need to connect!
