Canine Behavior Consulting Practicum
Canine Behavior Consulting Practicum
Once you’ve acquired all the knowledge and skills needed to support a successful canine behavior consulting practice, let’s talk about how you go forward to implement these tools to be benefit of your clients. The Practicum provides you with the opportunity to sit on live cases with my clients, as well as review your current casework as it progresses. This includes observation of up to 6 active cases as I work them, from assessment to conclusion.
These cases may include aggression towards humans or other animals, anxiety, fear, separation-related behaviors, destructiveness and lots of others. We’ll also jointly cover up to 6 active (or retrospective) cases of your own, to give you an edge in realizing excellent outcomes for yourself and your clients.
The program includes:
- Up to 2 individual meetings per month for instruction or to review ongoing cases
- Passive participation in the cases you’ve been assigned to observe
- Review of all case-related documentation, including referral letters
